About this module

This module accompanies the seminar. It starts with what everyone knows, language models and the agents built on them, and works its way down from there: how a language model represents text, how it is trained, and how a machine learns from data at all, shown on much simpler cases. From there it climbs back up to applications in different domains and to their consequences. Every session begins with an experiment that you can repeat at home, and all items are available from the start.

A four-digit code takes you straight to the item.
